Plot[]

Cornfed invites Beverly to join him on a trip to his Aunt's catfish ranch. Duckman, jealous of Cornfed's interest in Bev, tags along for the ride. After getting the ranch hands fired, Duckman and the gang must help the foreman, Big Jack McBastard, on the big catfish drive to Texas. After Duckman accidentally kills Big Jack, they are on their own.

Trivia[]

  • When Duckman goes to Las Vegas instead of help on the farm, the sequence's plot takes insperation from films such as Striptease and Showgirls.
  • Aunt Jane calls Cornfed by his first name, which was revealed in Pig Amok.
  • Duckman and Cornfed's duel is simmilar to scenes from High Noon and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Duckman's arrivial into town and jelousy of Cornfed and Bev's relationship is much like a similar scene in the Marilyn Monroe western film River of No Return.
  • The farm hands try to hang Duckman in a manner much like in The Ox Bow Incident.
  • Ron Palillo, who played Horshack on Welcome Back Kotter appears to Duckman and Duckman makes him re-enact a bit from the show.
  • During the campfire scene, Duckman sings Roundabout from the band Yes, rather poorly.

Notes[]

  • Episode Title Reference: Westward, Ho
